The ‘home of beer’ proclaims a sign outside, a debatable point if you’re served one of their rancid Warka’s. On luckier days you’ll find Zywe on tap, a beverage that’s lapped up in a long, dark room by a thirsty student fanbase. Otherwise there’s little of note in this brick heavy basement, aside from some weird ornamentations that include an upside bike and long-broken clocks. Strangely, somewhat, this remains an unerring stalwart on the local night map. The new owner notes that major renovations will close the spot down for the month of August, potentially returning with a name change as well.
