It might look a little grim from the outside but Kubryk is just what the city needs – a sea shanty pub. Filled with model boats above the bar, and fishing nets on the walls, this local gets loud and lively with lots of tuneless singing and clanking glasses, and proves a memorable night when filled to capacity. Recently the pub added a basement club called Kubryk Pod Pokladem, which offers shanty concerts, rock and roll parties and karaoke depending on the day of the week.
