Penetrate the greenish fog and find a basic space with tables and chairs squeezed in at all angles occupied by a collection of what can only be described as true pub legends including the occasional one-eared Absinthe drinker, a midget, after-work cabaret dancers and visiting sailors. By day a great place to eavesdrop on foreign language teachers involved in intense conversation, by night a choice place to cut loose the shackles of sobriety.

When living in Gdansk went there all the time! It was great and met awesome people there. It is also true that some nights were calm, but overall seen and almost done everything there. I recomend it!
Yeah, not that great to be honest. Took a while to get served and didn't seem to have mich atmosphere. We went on a Friday night. Although I found Gdansk on a Friday to be pretty quiet. We went out in Sopot on Saturday though which was really good.

I hated this place. Totally sucked
Well Barry you are obviously in the wrong game. Your first comment on Cafe Absinthe is in my opinion somewhat 3rd year. As for "thugs and slugs" somewhat provincial. As for final comment"mugs" I will leave that for you to ingest. RP.
Rubbish, a gruesome collection of thugs, slugs and mugs... avoid
