The timber-beamed Podewils suite is the pick of all the rooms, and comes with riverside views and is stuffed with antiques; perfect for the honeymoon or CEO visit.

Hotel Podewils is a gem of a hotel. The staff are absolutely fantastic and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The rooms are very comfortable with superb bathrooms. Breakfast is all you could want - an excellent buffet and eggs cooked to order as well. The location is good; 10 minute walk along the front to the Main Town or a short hop on the ferry across the river from the Maritime Museum. The restaurant is very high quality too.All this for 104 Euros in a de-luxe room. Tremendous.
