A beautiful scarlet room with melancholic jazz sounds and a collection of rattan furniture, flower arrangements and eccentric curios. Used as both a restaurant and café by Gdańsk high society the concise menu varies with the season but never disappoints. Try the roasted salmon served with Béarnaise sauce and pancakes. Guaranteed excellence, and the perfect place to take someone special. Recommended.

The interior is attractive, like a home. But as the food is concerned: no value for money. There is better in Gdansk! We were disappointed.
Went there once, had a good meal, very good for that money in this town. Went back 4.30 one sunday afternoon to have coffee & cake. All but one tables were empty but had reserved signs on them. The waiters insisted that every table would be filled within half an hour so we couldn't have coffee. Why bother going back to a place that lies to its customers?
My husband and I visited this superb restaurant yesterday before flying home today and thank goodness we did!!! It was excellent. We have been to two of the so called best in Gdansk in the last week and they were very expensive and the food about ok to average. We also visited the very popular Chlopskie Jadlo and as usual it did not disappoint!! The Palowa situated under the Town Hall was also worth a visit. This is the 4th time we have been to Poland and the only time we have been disappointed with some of the restaurants. Krakow and Warsaw were brilliant.
