Never a bad time in this ivy-covered riverside restaurant. On the menu dishes like duck, fresh fish and delicious homemade pierogi along with locally produced beer served by multi-lingual service to an atmospheric backdrop of scarlet fabrics, bits-and-bobs made from wrought iron and paintings of maritime Gdańsk. The summer garden, in the shadow of the city’s signature Crane (Zuraw or Krantor) is an excellent place to enjoy one of the best choices of properly prepared steak in the city, while the upstairs terrace has been renovated and serves as the perfect spot for a romantic meal overlooking the Motlawa river. Souvenir hunters should keep an eye out for the Goldwasser Vodka box sets.
