You know you’re broke if you find yourself in Jacobsen, a glass fronted budget diner set in a side street close to Targ Rybny. ‘Great home cooking’ teases the sign, and it’s certainly not bad at all, if all you eat at home is fast food. Still, the staff are friendly, and the ‘gypsy-style’ potato pancakes and homemade gołąbki are cheap and filling.
