The Polish Dwarf
Born near the Polish city town of Halicz in 1739 Józef Boruwlaski rates as one of Poland’s most curious natives. Better known as The Polish Dwarf he was adopted at a young age by the Starostin de Carolix though her subsequent marriage meant he was soon transferred to the patronage of Countess Humieka and her estate in Rychty.
