We’re confused by Charlie. This Chaplin-themed restaurant calls itself a jazz-centered “music pub,” but when we inquired with the staff about live music we were told it only extends to playing CDs over the speakers. The Chaplin memorabilia and décor give this darker spot a jazz age vibe that we can’t deny stands out on the beach of Gdynia. The concise and upscale menu is also pleasing, with tempting selections like tagliatelle with salmon in white sauce and  grilled turkey fillet with cranberry sauce. If Charlie figures out the music element (anyone can play CDs) it could be one of Gdynia’s best contenders.
