Look for Świętojańska 130 and you’ll find yourself standing outside a bicycle shop. To get to Dom Piwo you actually need to go down the side alley, take a turn and then down a set of stairs. And there you have it, an Aladdin’s Cave of international alcohol. The booze menu is vast, with brews ranging from Spitfire to Satan, to name just two of the hundred plus beers on sale. Prove your lunacy to the lads by ordering Delirium Tremens, a 12% Belgian effort with pink elephants on the label and a head-mashing hangover lurking inside the bottle. The interior is a homage to the world of beer, with coasters lining the walls and thousands of bottle tops stored in a tube by the entrance.
