A cracker of a curry house, even if the absence of Indian beer comes as a bit of a blow. Far less formal than the competition (as in Taj Mahal, we're not counting Bollywood), and a touch cheaper and all, the Tandoor affects the look of your standard neighbourhood Indian in England – a compliment if ever there was. As for the food, we weren’t disappointed, and when it comes to Indian cuisine we set standards high. The Chicken Tikka Masala is fabulous, and even more so when mopped up with the big, fluffy naans.
