One look at the imposing cream dining room and bow-tied waiters and you would be forgiven for thinking you’ll have to sell your children to finance a meal here. Wrong. This is a reasonably priced Italian restaurant that is one of the longer standing restaurants on the Gdynia market, something that can be put down to the quality of the food which is always reliable if nothing else when we visit.

I toured with my wife around Poland for a week and at the last evening (5.8.09) ate at Da Vinci restaurant before leaving the country. There is nothing good to say about this restaurant if you forget its nice decoration! It was the only restaurant within our trip that was really poor. First of all, service... Was there any? Our waiter was almost mute. Whether she was really silent or wasn't able to speak English. There was only a handful of customers but still we had to wait for our food for almost an hour! The food itself was the biggest disappointment. Our dishes were cold! My portion of veal was greatly over salted and had triple the amount of black pepper it should have. My wife's portion of veal on the other hand was totally tasteless. You would expect to have some culinary delights, since the prices are quite high in Polish standard. When I gave feedback to waitress all she did was shrug her shoulders! We will never visit this restaurant again and would recommend that to others as well.
