The name doesn't really translate, but connotes a creepy bird personifying this oddball effort on Szeroka. With tree branches hung with strange faces, bits of pottery and who-knows-what stretching over the colourful tables of the interior, Ptaszyl is a modest, not especially memorable spot for a drink, though they now offer proper food as well, taking a cue from their restaurant row location. The seasonal terrace is the obvious highlight, catching sun later than the outdoor seating around Plac Nowy.
