A recent renovation has turned the small, ineffectual upstairs into a place to catch a bite to eat, while descending the stairs you discover yet another subterranean dungeon; and this one more humourless than most. Preoccupied with ultra-aggressive electro music, there's no shortage of people on the dancefloor and Mish Mash has hosted a few good acts, though most of the friction you'll be feeling is between you and the sweaty t-shirt pinned to your tits. An alarming lack of ventilation makes MM almost unbearable and your beer will smell more like a latrine than usual, but we hear that's all the rage in London these days, so right on.
