Kraków's main and most central post office. Packages over 2kg can only be sent from a separate room ('Paczki') to the left of the main entrance. You do not need to take a queue ticket to buy stamps and if disabled you get a free pass to window 9.

Having now received a few more questions about the length of time it takes a parcel to travel abroad from Poland we discovered that you can do the following.
You can follow the delivery status of the package on this page sledzenie.poczta-polska.pl
On there you will need to write the package number(e.g. cp021767115pl)and the system should show you where the package is.
I also sent to South Africa to my family in May and they took more than two months to arrive, so dont give up hope.
d mazur - buffalo. I did the same thing from the outside box of the Post Office next to the train station in Krakow the last week of September and my postcards also have never been received! This is the first time this has ever happened to me in over 20 trips to Poland. Could they just not like us Mazurs! Co sie dzieje?
I was in Krakow for almost two weeks beginning Oct 7; I mailed at least two dozen postcards back to the states (including postcards to myself for souvenirs) and today's date is Nov 10. No one has received a postcard yet:( I started mailing them around Oct 10 - - mostly from the poczta box in Rynek Glowny. I wonder if they will ever make it to the US?I had a great time in Krakow; I am just utterly disappointed in the mail system.
