The Hebrew school in pre-war Kraków was a big deal, and inculcated Polish patriotism as well as Zionism with its dream of a Jewish state. The teachers were bigwigs from the university and it produced major figures in Polish-Jewish relations like Rafael Scharf, Natan Gross, and Michael Michael.
