With one of the highest overall standards in town, Mundo was ranked one of the top 10 hostels in the world in 2007. Ideal for couples on a tight budget looking for privacy amidst a social environment, the emphasis here is on double rooms rather than dorms, as you'll find few of the latter and eight of the former: six with proper double beds, though only one with a private bathroom. All the rooms are minimally decorated in a style associated with various countries as diverse as Tibet, Hawaii and Russia.
