Kraków’s original hostel. There’ve been a million copycats since, but none do it better. That’s partly down to Nathan, a man who takes the happiness of his guests seriously – even if it that means drinking till dawn with them. There’s a bit of a reputation for revelry here, and you’ll find the party in the basement where a network of chambers house a bar, billiards room and even a mini-cinema. But this is more than just a hedonists' hostel, as proven by the top-notch conditions of dorms and bathrooms. Wifi and public computer is available on the ground floor and ensuite privates have been added to cater to the higher-class of backpacker as well.

We stayed here for three nights over a weekend in September. It was a pretty good place and despite the write up about the party and revelry going on, we found hardly any of it. The staff are friendly, the breakfast is great and internet a handy saviour. The bathrooms are also worthy of mention, being very modern and non scuzzy.
