On the second floor of the renovated Cloth Hall, Cafe Szał offers great views of St. Mary's Basilica and the market square from its large terrace. In addition to being a great place for snapping some photos, this Tribeca-owned cafe serves delicious coffee, cakes, and cocktails. It's fairly recent opening remains one of the city's lesser known secrets, making the stage right for a romantic date. If you aren't interested in the cafe, you can pay 2zł just to visit the terrace (or try your luck by sneaking around to the second terrace in the same location on the other side of the spiral stairs).
