Despite spending years as one of the best bars and cultural houses in Kazimierz, the team behind Lokator has forsaken the beer business, casting their lot full force into their independent bookshop that was beginning to outgrow its old space. Moving into a more expansive, brightly-lit and family-friendly space on Kazimierz's coolest street of the moment - ulica Mostowa - Lokator offers plenty of interesting afternoon reading material. With their own publishing company and several old school printing presses, Lokator gives an audience (and retail space) to in-house and local authors, in addition to printing their own bi-monthly culture magazine, 'Mrówkojad' (Anteater). Unfortunately, it's all in Polish; that is, except for the excellent coffee and cakes which are a rewarding way to support this worthwhile enterprise.
