Descend the technicolour stairs to enter this maze of enormous cellars decked out with elephant-headed, multi-armed deities, fine oriental art and candlelight. The upscale atmosphere is in concert with the cocktail lounge it transitions into after dark, but in the afternoons this is a quiet hideout. An excellent English menu clearly explains the wide variety of dishes - a small selection of which are of Thai origin - including the heat level, which isn't the lark you might expect. The Malai Kofta wasn't the best we've ever had and the naan came out a bit black on the bottom, but we've eaten enough pierogi in our time to forgive a few minor details and enjoy.

Love this restaurant - my favorite Indian place in Krakow. I was disappointed to find it closed on this visit (mid February). I truly hope it is only temporary as it would be a great loss for the city if it is permanently closed. They have excellent food!
Excellent food all the time we go to this place. Some of food in menu are items normally not seen in an Indian restaurant in europe but are quite common in India. Must haves Chicken Lollipops Garlic Haka Noodles Dal Makhni
