Housed in perhaps the most magnificent building on the market square, just a stone’s throw from the Cloth Hall, Milano is a classy and smart dining option. A small collection of intimate rooms decorated with all manner of oddities including a rocking horse provide ample opportunity to tuck into a fine range of Italian and international dishes. The clientele is mixed albeit mostly well-heeled, whilst the almost inaudible music comes as an extremely pleasant surprise in what’s becoming an increasingly noisy city. All in all a great choice for pushing the culinary boat out when you’re in town.

"Just back from a "foodie" week in Krakov and have to say Casanova was the best food we tasted all week. The food, ambiance and service was superb, which is even better in a city not known for its cuisine. The dishes was simple but elegant, based on the homemade pasta, but with their own spin. The dish I enjoyed the most was a good example of this - homemade ravioli with mushrooms in a black truffle sauce and Italian sausage. Delicious!"
Absolutely fantastic restaurant, from the same people who brought you Aqua e Vino. The home-made ravioli is to die for, and one can only marvel at the interior of the Bonerowski Palace, with it's new Venetian style decor. Excellent food and highly drinkable house wine from Veneto.
