Manzana 3.0

  ul. Kupa 6 ,   Kazimierz          (+48) 512 36 23 32     25 Apr 2023
Though the menu may be a bit more Tex-Mex than truly Mexican homecooking, this is still one of the most authentic Mexican eateries in Kraków. The taquitos and quesadillas are delish, the nachos are enormous (even the smaller size can feed three) and their burgers are quite good as well; for two we recommend making it easy on yourselves by ordering the Manzana platter (and margaritas, of course). Though prices are pegged a bit high, the atmosphere is comfortably relaxed, making Manzana the kind of place you'd want to frequent often - which it would appear many American ex-pat families do. With daily specials - including the obligatory Taco Tuesday, great food, and the largest selection of tequilas in town...you know, we're really quite fond of this place. Another location (Manzana 2.0) in Podgórze at ul. Kalwaryjska 26.

Standard Mexican fare - little bit pricey but a pleasant place to spend time - can get a little loud. Tasty fajitas, but order extra tortillas.

I had some very good fajitas here and all around our experience was really good and this is probably the best Mexican food I have had in Krakow. If anyone from Manzana is reading this, I would just suggest larger tortillas for the fajitas and also the Margaritas were very good but we ordered frozen margaritas and if you want those to be good... freeze the mix don't add crushed ice but Krakow has come a long way in this aspect. 10 years ago a margarita was lemon juice and tequila. BTW, don't order tap water in Poland. Mineral water is what we drink and it is much better tasting.

Sorry, honey, but a 'jug of tap water' just doesn't exist here in PL. I think you and your friends will have to take cultural customs more into account next time you go out to eat. It's true, Poland isn't exactly known for its stellar service industry, and therefore your American everything-I-want-the-way-i-want-it attitude isn't going to garner many smiles. I'd recommend any of the self-service restaurants all over the city for you in order to spare you your own frustration and spare our underpaid waitstaff from the customer from hell. By the way, I was in Manzana a couple weeks ago, and while everything wasn't perfect, I didn't expect it to be and left with the impression of what a pleasant evening I'd had. The highlight was my food which was excellent.

just one comment to Celeste - there is no such thing like "tap water" in Polish restaurants - unless you want to run the risk of some serious stomach problems :O) so you may say the weitress acctually saved your a(ss) by serving you still water :P no offence, but sometimes it's worth to check these things before you go visiting... anyway I'm going there on Saturday..hope I won't find any neils...

A group of six of us were really looking forward to our 'Mexican ' night there, but we came away quite disappointed. We were there on October 5th last.Firstly we ordered a plate of tortillas just to have before our starters as we were quite hungry and mentioned this to the waitress thinking we would get the tortillas straight off.but no , the order had to be updated in the super duper computer before it was even given to the chefs there had run out of guacamole at 8 o'clock at night with all of 4 tables, occupied.Three of our main courses were wrong. When we had ordered a jug of tap water with our wine the waitress insisted on asking us twice if we wanted it still or sparkling ( and yes we were charged 11 zolty for it!)and was dismissive of us,we ordered more margaritas I found a piece of someone's nail in mine. After making some they told us their ice crusher was broken(?) and then continued to charged us for all those ordered.I have to admit , that even though it took 4 teenage chefs to make our food it was good, but the whole establishment is in need of a good management shake up if it is to survive. As you can imagine I would NOT recommend this to anyone. Now if you want a nice place with excellent service try Szara.
