Deceptively large with two entrances and a seasonal courtyard garden in between, Rocking Horse offers a comfortable hideaway, suitable for a quiet dinner date or group get-together. In summer enjoy a glass of wine in the garden where church bells compete with the stream of an over-zealous fountain, or retreat to an interior of colour-contrasting rooms curiously tied together by an abundance of very small framed images of rocking horses in lieu of the real thing (perhaps extinct since the heyday of the Polish cavalry). One side is a simple pizzeria, while the other runs the range of Polish grilled specialties, adding some simple pasta dishes to round things out at this affordable, if not particularly memorable, restaurant.

Very nice ambience, friendly and professional waiter, and really delicious food! We enjoyed the summer garden as well.Greatly recommended!
Siamo capitati per caso. Diretti a un altro ristorante (super segnalato) ci siamo Imbattuti in un infreddolito studente procacciatore di clienti il quale ci ha consigliato di provare questo posto che si trova in una traversa della famosa via Grodzka. L’ambiente è avvalorato dalla presenza di quadri e soprammobili raffiguranti cavalli a dondolo. In ogni tavolo trovava posto una romantica candela che contribuiva a rendere tutto molto suggestivo. Noi come di consuetudine quando andiamo all’estero abbiamo richiesto esclusivamente cucina del luogo. La prima sera abbiamo cenato con tutti i tipi di pierogi (ravioloni con vari ripieni) e anatra cucinata in modo encomiabile servita con salsa di mirtilli e ottime patate mentre per la seconda di siamo indirizzati verso una squisita zuppa di funghi servita in pagnotta preparata dallo chef. Ottima la birra con la quale abbiamo sempre pasteggiato. Noi ci siamo trovati molto bene è un ristorante da raccomandare!
