I loved the food here and would love to go back. I had a brilliant beef tartar 'prepared by the chef' which the waitress asked me if I would like it medium or rare before she blushed furiously. Next time I try the salmon tartar, it was a tough choice. The smoked cheese with cranberries was a great introduction to those wonderfully shaped cheeses sold on the street. Potato cakes were perfect - golden, crunchy and not too big with a wonderful wild mushroom sauce. Try with Chopin vodka on the side. I had bigos which was great to try for the first time but I found it a dry kind of stew and not what I was expecting after a long and drizzly cold day out.Vanessa
