A student populated cellar sternly guarded by grumpy gatekeepers. This place packs out like a tin of pineapples, and is little more than a tiny space filled with dusty bookshelves groaning under the weight of thousands of tomes. It’s also one of the best off-Piot bars you’ll find, and the preferred territory of dreadlocked girls wearing stripey leggings and acting very unladylike to the obvious joy of leery lads.

  Spent an excellent night there last saturday12th November. Great choice of beers and good bar staff also. Very cheap night out. Pleanty of weird women.

  Dreadlocks featurely routinely in this Lodz guide. If I actually see any in Lodz I will let you know. As for gate keepers, never seen one here. Perhaps I am always tucked up in bed too early to see any. This for me is a pretty relaxed, friendly bar, with books as proxy wallpaper.
