Approaching Zapiecek Oberża Folkowa in its distant courtyard spot off Piotrowska, it seemed promising that two guitar players were perched out front jamming together – after all, this is a venue dedicated to showcasing musicians. But the interior was populated solely by a bartender and a somewhat aggressive cat, both thirsty for new meat. When performances are scheduled this place is jumping, but if you happen upon Zapiecek on a night without a musical lineup you can expect a similarly desolate scene.
