Popular with Polish business travellers Alicja is a pleasant, ranch-style hotel 10 minutes or so from the city centre. Features include cable television in all the rooms, showers in the bathrooms, balconies and desks. All rooms come with internet connections, and the luxurious apartment has lush, deep pile carpets, heaps of space, and a brown three-piece suite. With a charming little restaurant and bar, plenty of parking and exceptionally cheerful staff, the thoroughly modern Alicja may be lacking in bellboys but it's quite possibly the best hotel in its class in the city.
