The locals sure get through a lot of pizza, so no surprise to find Hollylodz taking centre stage in the middle of the Rynek. The pizza here is huge – 45 centimetres huge – and comes in varieties that almost sound experimental, like the spicy Hellboy pizza with Tabasco. Pizza isn’t the only string to their bow, however, and who can resist a sword of pork balanced on its own tripod? There are also several impressive seafood options as well as zap, pow interiors that almost drip with decadence. Best of all, their opening hours mean weekend warriors no longer have their post-club choices limited to some ropey kebab stand.
