A trip to Hoi-An promises to leave both your stomach and wallet full, with heaping plates of noodles and fried rice averaging between nine and eleven zlotys - - not a misprint. That leaves plenty of funds available to delve into the steamed dumplings or spring rolls at the front of the menu or a cheap banana dessert (go ahead and impress your date). Hoi-An’s mix of Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine won’t win any awards, but neither will it leave you clutching your gut or breaking the bank, which is why the clientele skews decidedly towards students.
