Łódź finally gets a venue serious about wine. It’s been a long time in coming, but if early days are to be judged this place has been worth the wait. There’s very much an atmosphere of inter-war decadence here, with rows of wine bottles stacked in between a rich, red area of striped walls, dimmed lights and supporting pillars. Looks super, and while the wine is the draw the food is no second fiddle; the menu is a short, sharp affair, mastered by a chef boxed and shipped from Tuscany.
