Found a stone’s throw from the main drag on Piotrkowska is Doneda, a place which could definitely become one of our Lódź favourites. A makeover has given what was once Portobello a classy, modern yet relaxed feel but the real pull here is the food which scores highly particularly in the price to quality ratio. Primarily Italian and Mediterranean influenced, the steak we ordered was cooked exactly as requested while the pizzas were clearly freshly made and didn’t scrimp on the toppings. A recommended place for a lunchtime meeting in particular where their 20zl offer gives you a choice of their pizza and pasta allowing you to eat well without having to risk the wrath of the accountant.
