The Mexican

Sworn enemies of In Your Pocket, The Mexican work miracles in making a simple, tasty cuisine into an absolute mess. Cabbage appears to be the primary weapon in the chefs bag of tricks, and he wastes no time in hiding his work under it. Salsa too comes thrown on in spades, though in effect it tastes little different from the ‘spicy’ ketchup you squeeze from a bottle. What a shame then, because the face details are spot on; from the mock adobe courtyard to the chirpy tequila girls. Come for drinks, anything else might exit the system faster than anticipated.

Been a student in Lodz for 4 years and I've eaten here many times. The interior is filled with Corona bottle chandeliers, tons of Mexican decor, a wood fire in the winters and a beautiful staff dressed like they are ready to go do the cha cha. They will make you wait 2 hours for your food. When it comes to the food don't expect your typical enchilada or burrito. As mentioned cabbage will be the most prevalent vegetable in your plate, however if you can get past that you will find that the "Mexican" food in your plate isn't half that bad. Drinks are definitely worthwhile...with huge Margaritas and tequila served by a very nice senorita...who will go shot for shot with you if you'd like....All in all...not a bad place to have dinner

How right you are. How does this chain continue to survive is beyond levels of comprehension. Call that salsa?
