Located in a posh suburb, Dworek represents summer dining at its best with the set up including a sprawling hillside terrace featuring endless views of the surrounding forest. An open grill and a marquee are available for special occasions, though this is by no means a sunshine only destination. If you find yourself visiting in winter then allow the penguin waiters to escort you to one of four rooms, our pick being a tiny marine coloured affair decorated with an aquarium and a maritime feel. The menu features a list of treats that include honey glazed duck in a rowanberry sauce.

  My wife and I ate at the Dworek last May; we were the guests of a number of Polish government officials. The service was supurb, the food was excellent, and the ambiance perfect. This was a great dining experience.
