The décor of mossy green netting hanging from the ceiling says “military bunker” rather than “delicious pierogis,” though that is Lulumbowo’s claim to fame. The strange space is filled with heavy wooden tables and lots of bamboo – plus that rather creepy mold-like netting – but everything is ignored when you taste the spinach and Gorgonzola pierogis. At just 11 zl they’re a steal, and not overly-doughy. At night local musicians tapping out tunes on bongo drums will accompany your dishes, which just adds to the weirdness. We say embrace it for the sake of the pierogis.
