One of the square’s longest-standing venues which you can take as a good or a bad thing. The Londoner follows the old Polish marketing plan of naming something with a western slant (think Irish Pub, London Pub) in the hope of hooking the unsuspecting foreigner through the door and to be fair it is more authentic than many such places we’ve visited over the years. Guinness represents the isles on the beer front and is only acceptable at best but putting the gripes to one side, there is a regular crowd, friendly bar maids and a comfortable enough atmosphere to enjoy your pints of Polish lager. If only they’d can the loud pop music we might even like it.
