Opened all the way back in 1875 under the current name, the Polish Theatre in Poznań was a symbol of protest against the oppressive partitioning power - Prussia. It currently presents lots of contemporary plays, along with some classics, on three stages: the Big Stage, Malarnia (Paint Room), and Galeria (Gallery).

Box office open from 10:00 until the last performance; Sat, Sun 1 hour before performances. Closed Mon. Note that the theatre takes a summer break until the end of August.
