Once the location of our favorite steak in Poznan, Česká Hospoda is now heavily centered on all things goulash and noodles. It’s a menu that feels right in this dark Czech restaurant, but can also be rather heavy (lots of gravy, folks). Where Česká Hospoda excels, however, is their list of perfect-for-your-beer snacks. Order up a Czech brew like "Bernard" – or if you’re adventurous, a beer mixed with cola known as a “Diesel” – and pair it with their traditional Slovak noodles (bryndzowe haluszki) or sausages piled with pickled onions, sweet peppers and horseradish. A comfortable Czech substitute for a full meal, especially since it means you can drink more beer.
