Yes it’s in a hotel, but this is no three star, pastel colour, logo clad, looks-like-a-private-hospital sort of place. Okay, the hotel is three star, but Zagroda Bamberska has enough class and character to be awarded a bracket of its own. So too the restaurant, a cacophonous cross-timbered hall in which diners get to try dishes cooked to original Bamberg recipes.
