A complex of shabby buildings right by the water, formerly the summer villas of Communist Party members. (You can see traces of the austere Soviet style left over in the decor and furnishings.) Fine if you don't want luxury, but a trifle depressing. [...]

Pension Eden
Dating from 1908 the Eden is acknowledged as being Sopot’s third ever hotel. The sense of history is not lost on the interior, which features plenty of wood floors, rugs and lacework, as well as modern touches like satellite TV and fully renovated bathrooms. Even the dining room, pre-war in style, can boast a grand piano whose ivories have been tickled by piano maestro, Prime Minister and 20th century Polish hero Ignacy Paderewski. [...]

A five-building complex located next to the beach, with a pair of tennis courts on the grounds. Good value and one of the few places where budget travelers can get a sea view. The rooms basic but perfectly adequate if all you need is space to park your backpack. [...]
