Calling this milk bar “Trendy” seems to be an ‘if you build it they will come’ idea that doesn’t pan out. With the average age of the solo diners at Trendy hovering around 70 and the temperatures sweltering thanks to the kitchen, we wouldn’t use ‘hip’ or ‘stylish’ either. What it is, however, is cheap and hearty. The change in your couch cushions will land you a huge salad or a hefty plate of pierogis, all in classic Polish style. If atmosphere comes second to your rumbling stomach then belly up to the counter.
