No Warsaw summer is complete without a visit to Lolek, a rotund bar in the thick of the Mokotów Field. If the sun is on form then join the others, stretched on the grass with lager in hand while frisbee players lark around in the distance. At other times head indoors where Lolek assumes the look of a Munich beer hall: lots of good humoured drunks clanking glasses on wood bench seats to the boisterous sounds of live bands nightly. Stave off the hangover with soakage from the open grill.
