No Warsaw summer is complete without a visit to Lolek, a rotund bar in the thick of the Pole Mokotowskie Park. If the sun is on form then join the others, stretched on the grass with lager in hand while frisbee players lark around in the distance. At other times head indoors where Lolek assumes the look of a Munich beer hall: lots of good humoured drunks clanking glasses on wood bench seats. Stave off the hangover with soakage from the open grill.
