This long-established Tex-Mex bar is one of the go-to hangouts for ex-pats, thanks in part to the Irish owner Niall, though discerning the various accents becomes harder with every margarita and Corona that goes missing. Once you’re inside there’s something for everyone: Sky Sports on the TV, live music on weekends, a decent pint of Murphys and 10zl tacos if you’re lucky enough to show up on a Thursday. The global crowd is easy to mix with and accepting of outsiders, especially when they buy the tequila shots. Added bonus: the separate smoking room will save you a trip outside.
