By day Hala Mirowska is home to the cheapest fruit stalls and street peddlers in the city, and at night you can take all the money you’ve saved to the subterranean hotspot Galeria, which offers the best gay nightlife in Warsaw. The labyrinthine space is made up of endless dance floors (fuelled by equally relentless vodka drinks) and, if you pick the right night, fierce drag shows. Straight friendly and no attitudes at the door, it’s impossible to have a bad time amongst drag artists that put Lady Gaga’s outrageous style to shame.
