This show at the airport has been put together by the Zachęta Gallery and is set by the Departures gates between the old and new sections of Terminal A. The first exhibition includes photography, films and paintings presenting the history of Warsaw and its likely future. The photos by Leonard Sempoliński from the 50s show off the capital's architecture, Joanna Rajkowska's film focusses on important sites in the city and there are futuristic photo-montages by Kobas Laksa as well as paintings by Edward Dwurnik, Aneta Grzeszykowska and Jan Smaga. This is a fascinating collection of work and well worth the effort if you are passing through and have some time to spare.
