Find classics from international and Polish literature performed in what is regarded as the most important theatre in the country. Now well into its third century, it boasts four stages. See lectures as well as plays, historical literary giants Mickiewicz and Norvid both lectured here; take part in worshops on the studio stage. The repetoire has always had an international flavour, the theatre has been all over as well as hosting theatre leading lights like Giorgio Strehler from Milan - something for everyone at the high brow end of the scale.
