Bagno proves to be full of surprises. A simple order of the tasty goulash and potato pancakes comes accented unexpectedly (and successfully) with pesto; the attentive staff manages a bustling lunchtime trade of nearby office workers smoothly; and what appears to be an industrial, concrete-and-plywood décor is accented with a series of large photos of naked Asian women in bondage. Thrown for a loop? You sure are, but it’s a good one. The menu is short and to the point, with items like Italian bruschetta and Asian sesame chicken blending together seamlessly.
