One of the few coffee shops that we actually believe wants visitors to sit for ages with a book sipping coffee concoctions. How do we know? The chairs are comfortable, the music is tame and the whipped cream-coated drinks are so decadent that moving is ill-advised. The menu rotates daily, though the artistically-named drinks are constant (we liked the Matisse) and give a nod to the café’s dual role as a gallery for aspiring artists.
