On the surface there isn’t much to distinguish newcomer Leniviec from the scores of other cafes in town: the walls are covered in large, strange paintings, the music piped in is of the indie variety and the latte is more than serviceable. But Leniviec doesn’t rest on those staples; you’re just as likely to stumble on a Wednesday night board game night as a packed out evening of young professionals wading through the impressive menu. Plans for future lectures and cultural events promise to keep the city’s intellectuals coming in.
