Dinky, laid back restaurant owned by local provocateur/journalist Piotr Najsztub. A quick gander at the rather shabby looking menu - dog-eared sheets of yellow paper on an old clipboard - quickly reveals his love of our fat friend the goose, but has something for everybody. It’s essentially an extensive list of Polish and European dishes, all linked by the fact that Mr. Najsztub enjoys them, and the ‘Dog & Bitch’ section means you can even order a bowl of nosh for your four-legged friend. The interior is a nice mix of old and modern, with a treacherous cast iron spiral staircase leading to the mezzanine, a beautiful chequered floor and quirky paintings by illustrator and artist Marcin Maciejowski. Przegryź may look pretty Boho but it also attracts many of the ‘suited & booted’ types from the nearby offices, particularly at lunchtime.
